CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINAIVCE NO. 68-,ZOjP PAGE 8 <br />1331.99 PEN'ALTIES <br />( a) The owner of any dangerous building who shall fail to comply <br />with any notice or order to repair, vacate or demolish such <br />building given by any person authorized by this chapter to <br />give such notice or order shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, <br />upon conviction thereof, shall be fined not more than Two Hund- <br />red and 00/100 ($200.00 ) Dollars, for each offense, and further <br />sum of Ten and 00/100 ($10.00 ) Dollars, for each and every day <br />such failure to comply continues beyond the date fixed for com- <br />pliance. <br />( b) The occupant or lessee in possession who fails to comply with <br />any notice to vacate and who fails to mpair such building in <br />accordance with any notice given as provided for in this chapter <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, <br />shall be fined not more than Two Hundred and 00/100 ($200.00 ) <br />Dollars, for each offense, and a further sum of Ten and 00/100 <br />( $10.00 ) Dollars, for each and every day such failure to comply <br />continues beyond the date fixed for compliance. <br />( c 1 Any person removing the notice provided for in Section 1331.04 <br />( f) shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall <br />be fined not more than Tvo Hundred and 00/100 ($200.00 ) Dollars, <br />for each offense. <br />Section 2. That the present Sections 1331.01 to 1331.06 inclusive, of <br />Chapter 1331, Title Seven of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted <br />are hereby repealed as of the effective date of this ordinance. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the irnmediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare of the Cfty by virtue of the fact that injurious and unsafe <br />building exist within the City of North Olmsted thereby endangering the health, <br />safety and welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at <br />the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSE ?c ? <br />ATTEST: <br />1? <br />c1.
