That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1968, the following additional sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the GENERAL FUND: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />$6,497 to County Deductions <br />MUNICIPAL BUS FUND <br />$4,000 to Repair of Equipment <br />2,000 to Tires <br />3,000 to Gas & Oil <br />Section 4. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga Councy. <br />Section 5.. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized <br />to draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the <br />foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, <br />or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided <br />that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 6. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure by virtue of the fact that the transfer of funds and additional <br />appropriations is necessary for the financial operation of the City of North <br />Olmsted and, relates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of <br />the City of North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect <br />immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED: -??-{ / f?? l9 (p Q? <br />ATT EST: <br />C-C..J <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: ///1`l/?O <br />RalpK E.
