CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 68- , 7g <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR <br />OF PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS <br />FOR FOUR NEW POLICE CARS, AND DECLARIIVG <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public <br />Safety that it is necessary that four new police cars be purchased for <br />use in the City of North Olmsted ;and <br />WHEREAS, Council in order to facilitate the safety and security <br />of the City of North Olmsted desires to purchase four new police cars <br />for City use, and to trade- in towards the purchase price three police <br />cars now owned by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertise for bids for four newpolice cars to be used in the <br />City of 1Vorth Olmsted less an allowance for three police cars now owned <br />by the City of IVorth Olmsted, Ohio, as per the detailed specifications <br />presently on file in his office. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />meas.ure necessary for thepreservation of the public peace, health, safety <br />and welfare of the City by virtue of the immediate necessity of acquiring <br />four new police cars so that the streets of the City may be properly patrolled. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSE ? 60 19 6g <br />ATTE ST: <br />'?Q..?.: c o i - - - <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council Francis j.
