CITY OF NORTH OLNLSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. ?f-- ??07 <br />BY 0A4,t.t.C_.) <br />AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING TO PROCEED WITH THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF DECKER RQAD BETWEEN CERTAIN TERMIIVI IN THE CITY OF <br />NORTH 0'LMSTED, OHIO, BY CONSTRUCTING SIDEWALKS, AND DECLAR- <br />ING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, Cuya- <br />hoga County, State of Ohio: <br />Section l. That it is hereby determined to proceed with the con- <br />struction of sidewalks on both sides of Decker Road between Midvale Avenue <br />and Lorain Road where the property owners 13ave ?ot heretofore constructed <br />them in accordance with Resolution No. +, adopted September 3, <br />1968, as amended by Resolution No. 42C-1 (,,jA , adopted October 15, 1968. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of this Council is hereby directed to de- <br />liver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor within 15 <br />days after its passage. <br />Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed as soon <br />as the funds therefor are available to make and execute a contract for said <br />improvement with the lowest and best bidder after advertising according to <br />law and the improvement shall be financed as provided in the resolution of <br />necessity. <br />Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health <br />and safety of said City and for the f?.irther reason that the immediate con- <br />struction of said improvement is necessary to eliminate existing hazards to <br />pedestrian and vehicular t:raffic; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in full <br />force and effect from and immediately after its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />. <br />PASSED <br />Francis J. 0'Nei ,Pr sident of <br />ATTEST: Coun '1 <br />?
