CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RES OLUTI ON NO. <br />By <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 1 OF RESOLUTION N0. 4 g"14W <br />ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 3, 1968, TO DELETE THE BARTON ROAD SIDE- <br />WALKS FROM THE PROJECT, AND DECLARING A1V IIMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, this Council adopted Resolution No.?_on September <br />3, 1968, declaring the necessity of constructing sidewalks on Decker Road <br />and South Ba,rton Road; and <br />WHEREAS, because of the lateness in the construction season, it <br />will be possible to go forward with only the Decker Road sidewalks this <br />year; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Section 1 of Resolution No. ,"14111adopted <br />September 3, 1968, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />"Section l. That it is necessary to construct concrete <br />sidewalks in the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, in accordance <br />with the plans, specifications and estimates of cost therefor <br />prepared by the City Engineer and now on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of Council, and in the following locations: <br />l. Both sides of Decker Road from Midvale Avenue to <br />Lorain Road." <br />Section 2. That Section 1 of Resolution No. ??4.V, as it read <br />prior to this amendment, be and the same is hereby repealed in its entirely. <br />Section 3. That this resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace, health and safety by virtue of the need for the immediate construc- <br />tion of such sidewalks to permit safe passage by persons using Decker Road <br />and to eliminate existing hazards to pedestrians; wherefore, this resolution <br />shall be in full force and effect from and immediately after its passage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />S <br />PASSED <br />Francis J. 0`Nei , resident <br />ATTEST• of Counc <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: /0 ?? <br />. <br />Ralph .
