CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />Superintendent <br />ORDINANCE NO. 68- PAGE 2 <br />Assistant Superintendent <br />Operations <br />Equipment Repair Supetvisor <br />Equipment Mechanic <br />Equipment Servtcemen <br />Extra Labor - Part-time <br />$7, 000. 00 to $9, 000. 00 per year <br />payable semi-monthly. <br />$6, 000. 00 to $7, 500. 00 per year <br />payable semi-monthly. <br />$3. 25 to $3. 75 per hour <br />$3.00 to $3.50 per hour <br />$2.50 to $2.90 per hour <br />$1.26 to $2.26 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Directvr of Finance. <br />A. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees and retroactive <br />to September 1, 1968, all full time employees of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line having completed five years of full time continuous service as employees <br />of said department shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary <br />thereafter until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time serviee, after <br />which such employees shaLl receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter <br />until the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and there- <br />after 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the 20th year <br />of continuous full time service and during each year of full time service there- <br />after they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments. <br />B. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of <br />longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time <br />services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity in- <br />crements and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive any employee <br />of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees <br />in the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />C. That mechanics and other employees in the garage of the North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall have allowed to them the sum of Fifty and <br />00/100 ($50. 00 ) Dollars per year for the cleaning and maintenance Qf uniforms <br />worn by them in the performance of their duties in the North Olmsted Bus Line <br />garage. <br />Section 2. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of ordinances <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent herewith to the provisions of this Ordinance and <br />especially Ordinance No. 67-241 are hereby repealed with the effective date of this <br />Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby directed to <br />mail a copy of this Ordinance to the Finance Director and Superintendent of the <br />North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure.necessary for the public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City <br />of North Olmsted by virtue of the immediate necessity of maintaining and increas- <br />ing the moral and effectiveness of inembers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus <br />Line. WHEREFORE, THIS Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PAS SE <br />ATTEST: <br />? <br />,. ?
