CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 68-' <br />BY Q?k <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />NEGOTIATE FOR AN D ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />EMPLOYlNG A PROFESSIONAL REAL ESTATE <br />APPRAISER , AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City should consider the <br />purchase of Spring Vale Country Club, located in the City of IVorth Olmsted for <br />recreational purposes ; and <br />WHEREAS, in order to determine the value of the land it will be <br />necessary for the City to retain the professional services of a real estate <br />appraiser. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to negotiate <br />with and to retain the professional services of a real estate appraiser to deter- <br />mine the market value of certain land known as Spring Vale Country Club. <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of immediately retaining <br />the services of a professional real estate appraiser, in order that the develop- <br />ment of the City may proceed in an orderly manner as rapidly as possible. <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon <br />its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PAS SE D: <br />ATTEST: <br />, Clerk of Council <br />, <br />?l. ?-e-? • 0' <br />Francis J.O'Neill, r sident of Council <br />APPROVED: 7 // 6 /? 9 <br />I <br />` r <br />Ralph .
