CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE I?TO. 68- 12 q <br />BY ` <br />AIV ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO <br />NEGOTIATE WITH AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />TO RETAIN THE SERVICES OF A FINANCIAL CON- <br />SULTANT, AND DECLARING AIV EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that the City should consider the <br />purchase of Spring Vale Country Club, located in the City of North Olmsted <br />for recreational purposes ; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined that prior to entering into negotiations <br />for the purchase of Spring Vale Country Club it would be beneficial that the City <br />have an expert professional opinion as to present income, anticipated income, <br />and "various methods of financing. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDIANED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to negotiate <br />with and enter into a contract securing the professional services of a financial <br />consultant with a view to determining the present and future financial _outlook <br />with respect to anticipated purchase of Spring Vale Country Club and in addition , <br />thereto,to recommend various methods of securing the necessary financing. <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the city by virtue of the necessity of immediately retaining <br />the services of a financial consultant in order that the development of the City <br />may proceed in an orderly manner as rapidly as possible.WHEREFORE, this <br />Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, <br />otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />4-L <br />ATTEST: <br />` , Clerk of Council Francis j.0'Neil , esident of Council <br />f?C`t"t o 7APPROVED: `7`/L/?? <br />/ <br />Ralph .
