CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68 - 1C>9 <br />BY: „ f- <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section 1. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows; <br />GENERAL FUND <br />FRO M TO <br />Finance Clerk $1,000 Planning Commission <br />Finance Clerk 2,000 City Hall Maintenance <br />Police Miscellaneous 300 Police Supplies <br />Engineering Janitor 1,000 Engineering Mileage <br /> STREET MAINTENANCE FUND <br />Trucks & Equipment $3,000 Traffic Lights <br /> SEWER REVENUE FUND <br />Systems Equipment $1,000 Plant Maintenance <br /> RECREATION <br />Capital Improvement $11,000. Salaries <br />BUS <br />Legal Advertising $300 Miscellaneous <br />Equipment 200 Uniforms <br />Section 2. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expenses constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the several municipal <br />department of the City of North Olmsted, and shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after its passage.
