CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 68- /,1 <br />BY . <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE AND PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE <br />FOR BIDS FOR THREE NEW POLICE CARS, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of <br />Public Service and Public Safety that it is necessary that three new police cars <br />be purchased for use in the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council, <br />security of the City of North Olmsted, <br />cars for city use. <br />in order to facilitate the safety and <br />desires to purchase three new police <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Director of Public Service and Public <br />Safety be and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for three new police <br />cars to be used in the City of North Olmsted, as per the detailed specifications <br />presently on file in his office. <br />Section 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, <br />safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the immediate necessity of acquiring <br />three new police cars so that the streets of the City may be properly patrolled. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately after <br />its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />-?---- <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />APPROVED: <br />? <br />Francis J.
