CI TY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDI NANCE N0. 68- 24 <br />BY <br />AN ORDI NANCE ESTABLISHI NG A CASH FUND TO BE <br />USED BY THE NORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINES, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee of Council has <br />been advised that due to the increase of buses on the road <br />occasioned by the population growth of the City of North Olmsted, <br />that a fund is necessary to furnish to bus drivers to make change <br />for passengers, and <br />WHEREAS, the Transportation Committee has established <br />the amount of the fund to be Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2500.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That there is hereby established a North <br />Olmsted Municipal Bus Line "Change Fund" in the amount of <br />Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2500.00) <br />Section 2: That said fund will be maintained at the main <br />office of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, and will be used <br />to furnish change to the drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal <br />Bus Line. <br />Section 3: That the Superintendent of the North Olmsted <br />Municipal Bus Line will furnish to the Director of Finance an <br />account of said fund upon regular intervals. <br />Section 4: That the Clerk of Council be directed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Superintendent of the <br />Bus Lines and to the Finance Director of the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 5: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure necessary for the public peace and welfare <br />by virtue of the fact that the increase in passengers has left <br />many bus drivers with insufficient funds for necessary change. <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASS ED :?? ? <br />ATTEST: <br />. <br />_CL <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Francis J. 0'Neill,, P esident of Council <br />Counci 1 <br />APPROVED: 121 /0/ A op <br />? • r.vl. <br />Ralph .
