CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 68-34 <br />BY ? <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO <br />A CONTRACT WITH THE GOVERNMENTAL RESEARCH INSTITUTION <br />FOR THE PURPOSE OF CONDUCTING A STUDY NECESSARY FOR <br />THE WELFARE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DE- <br />CLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WrIEREA S, The Finance Committee of Council has been advised <br />that certain information is needed by the Mayor and the Administration for <br />the benefit of the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, Governmental Research Institution is equipped,:to <br />furnish the necessary information, and <br />WHEREAS, Council wished to employ Governmental Research <br />Institution to conduct the necessary study. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a <br />contract with the Governmental Research Institution for the furnishing of <br />necessary information to the City of North Olmsted, not to exceed $1 , 100. 00 <br />(eleven hundred dollars and no cents) in an amount. <br />Section 2: That this Ordinance is hereby directed to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that it is necessary to immediately <br />start to con duct the study and the furnishing of the results of same in <br />the year 1968.WHEREFORE, THIS ORDINANCE shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASSED: ?!yzOir e-k 5- <br />,1 I Qo Q' <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />??_ - - - <br />• , <br />, <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council Francis j.0'Nei11,:--P sident of Council <br />A.PPROVED: ,3 S/GO <br />Ralph .
