CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO.. 68-44 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN OPTION AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />NATIONAL CITY BANK OF CLEVELAND TRUSTEES FOR THE <br />PURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING ANEMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has been advised by <br />Council that it would be feasible for the City to purchase real property <br />in the City of North O1mSted, located at 27243 Lorain Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, Council, after having been fully advised of all the <br />provisiQns of the proposed option and purchase agreement between the City <br />of North Olmsted and the National City Bank of Cleveland Trustees,a copy <br />of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein and marked Exhibit A, <br />are of the opinion that it would be to the best interest of the citizens of <br />the City of North Olmsted that this said option and purchase agreement <br />be entered into. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted , State of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to <br />enter into an option and purchase agreement with the National City Bank <br />of Cleueland Trustees for the purchase of real property at 27243 Lorain <br />Avenue in the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 2: WHEREFORE, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergeney measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of <br />immediately purchasing said real property for the expansion of city <br />facilities.
