CITY OF NOR7H OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68 - *51 <br />BY: ?Dln . W , n 1- <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section l. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />GENERAL FUND <br />FRO M TO <br />County Deductions $3,600 City Hall Maintenance $ 200 <br />Office Equipment Repair 400 <br />Police Schooling 2,000 <br />Police Supplies 1,000 <br />Engineering Salaries $5,860 Engineering Equipment 4,860 <br />Engineering Supplies 1,000 <br />Section 2.. That the Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance of Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that <br />no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriations for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expenses constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the AudEtor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health, safety and <br />welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the several municipal <br />department of the City of North Olmsted, and shall take effect and be in <br />force from and after its passage. <br />PASS ED: 2 L7 (o? <br />ATT EST: <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />APPROV ED: -'117_G40 <br />Ralph E.
