Any of the above, with the exception ot schooi guards ana <br />auxiliary police , shall while on duty as plain clothes detectives, be paid <br />additional compensation at tne rate oi $300.00 annually for all time spent <br />as plain clothes detectives. <br />B. Full time employees of the Police Department having completed <br />five years of full time continuous service as employees of said department <br />shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary, thereafter until <br />completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which - <br />such employees shall receive 4% of their base annuat salary, thereafter until <br />the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter <br />5% of their base annual salary until after the completion ot the 20th year of <br />continuous full time service, and during each year of full time service there- <br />after they shall receive 6% of their base salary as longevity increments. <br />C. In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of the longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given <br />for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the purpose of com- <br />puting longevity of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time <br />service as employees in the Safety Department <br />D. In addition to the regular base salary plus increment and other <br />wage increases, all regular employees of the Police Department, including <br />officers shall on their oriqinal appointment and during tne firsL calendar <br />year during their appointment, receive $300.00 clothing allowance and shall <br />durinq each calendar year,thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $150.00 <br />to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief <br />of the Department. <br />E. For each full time member of the Police Department ( excluding <br />Auxiliary Police and School guards ) the City of North Olmsted shall pay an <br />amount equal to a sinqle person's rate per month towards the cost of Blue <br />Cross Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said members of the <br />Police Forse, as established by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May. <br />Section 3. That employees of the Police Department of the City of <br />North Olmsted by reimbursed not to exceed $3.00 per day for per diem ex <br />penses %hile in attendance at the Police training school established by the <br />Cuyahoga County Commissioners at Western Reserve University, which <br />school is for a two period with 10 days class attendance.
