CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 68-64 <br />BY Mr. Caster <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE OLMSTED <br />HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO DISPLAY FOR CIVIC <br />PURPOSES CITY PROPERTY CONSISTING OF <br />HORSE-DRAWN HEARSE AND A 1929 SEAGRAVES <br />FIRE ENGINE. <br />WHEREAS, The Safety-Service Director has advised <br />Council that the City no tonger has any need for City property consisting <br />of a Horse-Drawn Hearse and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine, and <br />WHEREAS, the Olmsted Historical Society has advised <br />Council that their organization is desirous to display for civic purposes <br />the Horse-Drawn Hearse and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it be to the best <br />interest of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted that the Olmsted <br />Historicat Society display said vehicles so that all interested North Olmsted <br />citizens may have an opportunity to inspect these veh;'cles that are of a <br />historical nature. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l. That the Olmsted Historical Society by and <br />is hereby authorized to display for civic purposes city property consisting <br />of Horse-Drawn Hearse and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine. <br />Section 2. That the Olmsted Historicat Society upon <br />accepting the Horse-Drawn Hearse and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine agree <br />that title to the Horse-Drawn Hearse and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine re- <br />mains with the City of North Olmsted, In the event that the Olmsted <br />Historical Society should be disbanded, the vehictes are to be returned to <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3, That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed <br />to mail a copy of this Ordinance to the trustees of the Olmsted Historical <br />Society to become a permanent part of their records. <br />Section 4.
