? ir <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 68- `j `/ PAGE 2 <br />(1) For failure to pay taxes due--other than taxes withheld ; one half <br />per cent ( 1/2% ) per month or fraction thereof. <br />(2') For failure to remit taxes withheld from employees ; three per cent <br />( 3% ) per month or fraction thereof. <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />In addition to interest as provided in Sectionl50°1.1501 hereof, penalties <br />based on the unpaid tax are hereby imposed as follows: <br />(1) For failure to pay taxes due--other than taxes withheld: ten per <br />cent ( 10% ) per annum or fraction thereof. <br />( 2) For failure to remit taxes withheld from employees : ten per <br />cent ( 10% ) per month or fraction thereof. <br />Section 4. That Sub-paragraph C, Section 1501.1302 , Section 1501. <br />1501 , and Section 1501.1502 ( Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted ) <br />as enacted by Ordinance 67-70 passed May 16, 1967, being the same are hereby <br />repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />Section 5. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary forthe preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare di the City by virtue of the fact that it is necessary that North Olmsted <br />Income Tax Ordinance corresponds in every detail with all other municipalities <br />who are membersof the Central Collection Agency.
