<br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDIN'G
<br />COIVIMISSIONER TO PROCEED WITH THE DE-
<br />MOLITION OR REMOVAL OF THE DWELLING
<br />ON PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 232-3-16, MARTIIV
<br />DRIVE, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant tothe provisions of Ordinance No. 1331.01 -
<br />1331.06 inclusive of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted,
<br />the Building Commission has determined that abandoned dwelling at Martin
<br />Drive, and also known as Permanent Parcel No. 232-3-16, the record title
<br />holder of which is Libby Loschiavo aka Libby Schiavo, is unsage, dangerous
<br />to human life and a hazard to the safety, health and public welfare of the
<br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio ; and
<br />WHEREAS, notice to repair, remove or demolish said building was
<br />served by certified mail on said record title holder on May 26, 1966, May
<br />25, 19 67, and March 20 ,1968 , ordering her to repair, remove or demolish
<br />said dwellings and to commence such repair, removal or demolition within
<br />forty-eight hours of receipt of said notice ; and
<br />WHEREAS, said owner of real property does not live within the City
<br />of North Olmsted, therefore, the said owner of real property was served by
<br />a notice published in the Plain Dealer, April 4, 1968, April 11, 1968, and
<br />April 18,1968, all in accordance with the Codified Ordinances of the City
<br />of North Olmsted, Sections 1331.01 to 1331.06 inclusive ; and
<br />WHEREAS, said owner of real property has neglected , failed,and
<br />omitted to obey the request of the Building Department to make said building
<br />safe according to the ordinances of the City of North Olmsted.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY the Council of the City of
<br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio :
<br />Section l. That Council deems it necessary to proceed with the
<br />demolition and removal of the dwellings or accessory buildings at Martin
<br />Drive, North Olmsted, Ohio, also known as Permanent Parcel No. 232-
<br />3-16, owned by Libby Loschia'vo aka Libby Schiavo, whose mailing address
<br />is 3654 Ludgate Road, Shaker Heights, Ohio, by reason of the fact that
<br />said dwellings have been determined to be dangerous to human life and
<br />a hazard to the public safety, health and welfare, and that the cost of
<br />said demolition and removal be paid from the general fund of the City of
<br />North Olmsted and charged to the owner as a special assessment or lien
<br />on said parcel of land, and assessed and callected in the manner of other
<br />assessments as provided by law.
