' ?,....CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 69- V,.I1 <br />BY <br />AN ORDIIVANCE AUTHORIZIIVG THE OLMSTED <br />HISTORICAL SOCIETY TO DISPLAY FOR CIVIC <br />PURPOSES CITY PROPERTY CONSISTING OF <br />A HORSE-DRAWN HEARSE AND A 1929 SEA- <br />GRAVES FIRE EN'GINE. <br />WHEREAS, the Service Director has advised Council that the City no <br />longer has any need for City property consisting of a Horse-Drawn Hearse <br />and a 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine, and <br />WHEREAS, the Olmsted Historical Society has advised Council that <br />their organization is desirous to display for civic purposes the Horse-Drawn <br />Hearse and the 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it be to the best interest of the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted that the Olmsted Historical Society dis- <br />play said vehicles so that all interested North Olmsted citizens may have an <br />opportunity to inspect these vehicles that are of a historical nature. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section l. That the Olmsted Historical Society be and is hereby authorized <br />to display for civic purposes property consisting of a Horse-Drawn Hearse and a <br />1929 Seagraves Fire Engine, and the Mayor of North Olmsted is hereby authorized <br />to sign a contract with the Olmsted Historical Society permitting the vehicles to <br />be displayed. <br />Section 2. That the Olmsted Historical Society upon accepting the Horse- <br />Drawn Hearse and the 1929 Seagraves Fire Engine agree that, in the event that the <br />Olmsted Historical Society should be disbanded, the vehicles are to be returned <br />to the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to mail a copy <br />of this Ordinance to the Trustees of the Olmsted Historical Society to become <br />a permanent part of their records. <br />Section 4. WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />according to Article IV, Section 12 of the Charter of the City of IVorth Olmsted. <br />PASS ED: <br />ATTEST: <br />?.. <br />,. ..? ? <br />Eb m, Clerk of Council <br />Nora T.
