CITX OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69-1. 0? <br />By: rnil 4J?? <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SAFETY TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />TWO NEW POLICE CARS, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />TJfiEREAS, Council has been advised by the Director of Public <br />Safety that it is necessary that two new police cars be purchased <br />for use in the City of North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, Council in order to facilitate the safety and security <br />of the City of North Olmsted desires to purchase two new police cars <br />for City use, and to trade-in toward the purchase price one police car <br />now owned by the City. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohioi <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for two new police cars to be <br />used in the City of North Olmsted, less an allowance for one police car <br />now owned by the City of North Olmsted, Ohio, as per the detailed <br />specifications presently on file in his office. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue of the immediate <br />necessity of acquiring two new police cars so that the streets of_ the <br />City may be properly patrolled. WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise <br />at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PAS,SED :???????'/?0 9 <br />ATTEST: <br />?
