<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 69- 104 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br />INTO AN OPTION AND PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR <br />SPRING VALE COUNTRY CLUB, AIVD DECLARING AIV <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Spring Vale Country Club is located in the City of North <br />Olmsted and has been offered for sale to the City of North Olmsted, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted is desirous of purchasing Spring <br />Vale Country Club, and <br />WHEREAS, Council having been fully advised of all the provisions of <br />the proposed option and purchase agreement and is of the opinion that it would <br />be to the best interests of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted that this <br />option and purchase agreement be entered into. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1, That the Mayor be and he is authorized to enter into an <br />option and purchase agreement for the purchase of Spring Vale Country Club <br />and other lands with, Biddulph Inc. , George Biddulph, Almera B. Reitz, <br />George M. Biddulph, and Rose A. Scheeff. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, safety, health and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of immediately purchasing said <br />real property for the expansion of city recreation facilities.
