<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 69-191 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, TITLE FIVE, CHAPTER <br />331, ENTITLED " OPERATION GENERALLY, " BY ENACTING <br />SECTION 331. 32, ENTITLED " FAILURE TO COIVTROL ; <br />WEAVING COURSE, " AND DECLARING A1V EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Police Prosecutor has requested of the Police Department <br />an ordinance for the control of traffic, and <br />WHEREAS, the Police Department has requested of Council an ordinance <br />for traffic control. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio; <br />Section l. That Title Five, Chapter 331, be amended by enacting <br />Section 331.32 as follows: <br />Section 331.32 Failure to Control ; Weaving Course. <br />( a) No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon any street or <br />highway without exercising reasonable and ordinary control <br />over such vehicle. <br />( b) No person shall operate a motor vehicle upon any street or <br />highway in a weaving or zigzag course, unless such irregular <br />course is necessary for safe operation or in compliance with <br />the law. <br />Section 2. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances, or resolutions <br />or parts of resolutions inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are <br />hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that said ordinance is needed <br />by the Police Department for adequate control of traffic. <br />PASSED: (nj?-Aj I ?
