ORDINANCE NO. 69- 117S- <br />BY i? . <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDIIVANCE 1V0. 68-109, <br />EFFECTIVE JUIVE 18, 1968, AND ENTITLED " ORDINANCE <br />AUTHORIZIIVG THE MAYOR TO DIRECT COIVSULTING <br />ENGINEERS, FLOYD G. BROWIVE A1VD ASSOCIATES, LTD., <br />TO PREPARE DETAILED DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIOIVS AND <br />FURNISH ENGINEERIIVG SERVICES FOR EXPANSION OF THE <br />CITY'S WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY, " AND DECLARIIVG AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of IVorth Olmsted authorized the <br />preparation of the engineering report, General Plan and Estimates of Cost for <br />Expansion of the City's Wastewater Treatment Plant in accordance with the <br />permit conditions of the Ohio Water Pollution Control Board, and <br />WHEREAS, the Consulting Engineer, Floyd G. Browne and Associates, <br />Ltd. , has prepared the engineering report, general plan and estimates of cost, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, in compliance with the requirements of the Ohio Water <br />Pollution Control Board, it is necessary to proceed with " FUTURE " proposed <br />improvement program, and <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary to retain registered professional engineers <br />for the furnishing of the engineering services incidental thereto. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance 1Vo. 68-109, enacted June 18, <br />1968, reading as follows: <br />Section 1. " That the Mayor be and he is directed to authorize <br />Consulting Engineers, Floyd G. Browne and <br />Associates, Ltd. , to prepare the detailed drawings, <br />specification, detailed estimates of cost and <br />furnish other engineering services incidental.thereto <br />for the " IMMEDIATE " improvement program as <br />described in Table No. 2, Page 40 of the engineering <br />report dated May 6, 1968." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1. That the Mayor is further authorized to direct Floyd G. Browne <br />and Associates, Ltd. , consulting engineers, to prepare the detailed drawings, <br />specifications, detailed estimates of cost and furnish other engineering services <br />incidental thereto for the " FUTURE ," to-wit : nine million ( 9, 000, 000 ) gallons <br />per day capacity, improvement program as described in Table No. 2, Page 40 of <br />the engineering report dated May 6, 1968.
