? ?. <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 69-jW <br />BY <br />)?)2 - <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />NEW SERVICE TRUCKS FOR THE NORTH OLMSTED <br />SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING AN <br />EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the City <br />purchase two ( 2) 2-ton trucks and one ( 1) 1-ton truck for the North <br />Olmsted Service Department, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in need of <br />two ( 2) 2-ton trucks and one ( 1) 1-ton truck for use by the North Olmsted <br />Service Department. ? <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be and he is hereby <br />authorized to advertsie for bids for two ( 2) 2-ton trucks and one ( 1) 1-ton <br />truck for use by the North Olmsted Service Department, according to the <br />specifications now on file in his office, and that upon approval by the Board <br />of Control the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute <br />same on behalf of the City of North Olmsted for said two ( 2) 2-ton trucks <br />and one ( 1) 1-ton truck. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, health and welfare <br />of the City by virtue of the necessity of obtaining a two ( 2) 2-ton trucks and <br />one ( 1) 1-ton truck for use by the North Olmsted Service Department, for use <br />during the winter season , and to better serve the citizens of IVorth Olmsted. <br />WHEREFORE, this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage,otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />? <br />, , <br />?? <br />?
