lw <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 69- 166 <br />? <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE DETF.RMINING TO PROCEED UIITH THE <br />IMPROVEMENT OF SOUTH BARTON ROAD IN THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, BY CONSTRUCTING STDE- <br />WALKS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That it is hereby determined to proceed with <br />the construction of sidewalks on both sides of South Barton Road <br />from Lorain Road southerly 2,716 feet in the City of North Olmsted, <br />Ohio, where the property owners have not heretofore constructed <br />them in accordance with Resolution No. 69-132, adopted July 1, <br />1969. <br />Section 2. The Clerk of this Council is hereby directed <br />to deliver a certified copy of this ordinance to the County Auditor <br />within 15 days after its passage. <br />Section 3. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed <br />as soon as the funds therefor are available to make and execute a <br />contract for said improvement with the lowest and best bidder after <br />advertising according to law and the improvement shall be financed <br />as provided in the resolution of necessity. <br />Section 4. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public peace, health and safety of said City and for the further <br />reason that the immediate construction of said improvement is nec- <br />essary to eliminate existing hazards to pedestrian and vehicular traf- <br />fic; wherefore, this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and immediately after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />?. <br />PAS SED : ":,....c}.Z.,..
