' <br />BY ` <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVIlVG THE REPORT OF THE ASSESSMF,NT <br />EQUALIZATION BOAFtD ON 0&TECTIONS CONCERNING THE <br />E;STIlMTID ASSESSMENTTI.'S FOR THE IMPROVIIMENT OF CERTASN <br />STREETS AND PUBLIC EASENENTS BY CONSTRUCTIlVG SANITARY <br />S?,'WERS j, SEWER CM CONNECTIONS AND NECESaARY APPURTF.- <br />NANCES, ING2,UDIlVG NECESSARY STREET RESURFACING AND <br />RFSTORATION OF DRAINAGE FACILITIES (CON`rRACT N0. 16-- <br />ZONE 3),.AND DECLARING AN ENIERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Assessment Equalization Board heretofore appointed by <br />Resolution No. 69-62 of this Council adopted June 26, 1969, to hear and <br />determine all objections concerning the estiunated assessments for the improve- <br />ment of Bradley Road and other streets and easements between the termini <br />set forth in Resolution No. 69-14, adopted February 4, 1969, (Sew+er Contract <br />No. 16) by constructing sanitary sewers, sewer curb connections and necessary <br />appurtenances., including necessary street resurfacing and restoration of <br />drainage facilities, has filed its report with this Council as to its determi- <br />nation of such objections; and <br />WFiERFAS, Council deems such report proper in a11 respects; <br />NOW., THEREFOREj, BE IT RESOLVID by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, Cuyahoga County, Ohio: <br />Section 1. The report of the Assessment Equalization Board herein- <br />before recited be and the same is hereby approved and the assessments as <br />equalized by said Board and reported by it be and they are hereby directed <br />to be filed in the office of the Clerk of Council. <br />Section 2. That the amount by which the original estimated assess- <br />ments were reduced by the Assessment Equalization Boaxd shall be assumed by <br />the City in addition to the portion of the cost of the improvement which the <br />City is required to beax under Resolution No. 69-14. <br />Section 3. This resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health <br />and safety of said City, and for the flarther reason that the immediate con- <br />struction of said improvement is necessary to protect the health of the <br />abutting owners and the irihabitants of the City; wherefore, this resolution <br />shall be in fla.l.l force a.nd effect from and immediate],y after its pa.ssage and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSID: i'? <br />ATTES : - fUl?if.?` <br />Florence Holm, <br />Clerk of Council <br />APPxovm: LG?
