? <br />? <br />C ITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NOo L91-'j.3b <br />BY ? . <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIkECTING THE CANCELLA710N <br />OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0, 231-$-5 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR <br />sidewalk construction AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of sidewalks. <br />WHEREAS, Mr. & Mrs. Baldwin of 2330$ Alexander Rd. <br />have paid the sum of $195.76 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 1969 through lg 72, inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No. 231-8-5 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohioo <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and dir°ected to cancel for the years 1969 through 1972 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, sidewalk construction. <br />Section 20 That the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and dir°ected to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 19 6g through 1972 , inclusive, amounting to <br />$ 195,76 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 231-$-5 , for sidewalk construction. <br />Section 5; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED: <br />.. <br />Francis J. 0'Neil , P esident of Council <br />ATT EST: <br />.
