A?_ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />0 RD I NANC E NO. 69 -11,, <br />BY: ? • W U?? <br />? <br />-..., <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />AND MAKING ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR <br />CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE <br />YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1969, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERG ENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, STATE OF OHIO: <br />Section l. That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />RECREATION FUND <br />FROM <br />TO <br />Supplies $3,000 Salaries $6,760 <br />Planning Consultant 5,000 Capital Improvement 1,240 <br />Section 2. That to provide for current expenses and other <br />expenditures of the said City of North Olmsted during the year ending <br />December 31, 1969, the following additional sums be and they are hereby <br />set aside and appropriated as follows: <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the GENERAL FUND: <br />Town Hall Maintenance $1,000 <br />Supplies 4,000 <br />Engineering Equipment 900 <br />Police Equipment 900 <br />General Office Equipment 600 <br />Total $7,400 <br />Section 4. That there be appropriated from the SEWER REVENUE FUND: <br />Plant Maintenance <br />$5,000 <br />Section 5. That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />Section 6. That the City Finance Director is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the foregoing <br />appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefor, <br />approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve same, or an <br />Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no <br />warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons <br />employed by authority of and in accordance with law or ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon <br />approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a <br />legal obligation against the City and for purposes other than those covered <br />by the other specific appropriations herein made. <br />Section 7. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure by virtue of the fact that the transfer of funds and additional <br />appropriations is necessary for the financial operation of the City of North <br />Olmsted and, retates to the safety, health, and welfare of the citizens of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law.
