CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69-118 <br />]A. Cj <br />BY ??/ <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF <br />PUBLIC SERVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR <br />TWO (2) ONE-HALF TON SERVICE TRUCKS FOR <br />THE NORTfI OLMSTED SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND <br />DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Committee recommends that the <br />City purchase two (2) one-half ton service trucks for the North <br />Olmsted Service Department; and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the City is in <br />need of two (2) one-half ton service trucks for use by the North <br />Olmsted Service Department. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVFD by the Council of the <br />City of North Qlmsted, State of Ohio; <br />Section 1. That the Director of Public Service be <br />and he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for two (2) <br />one-half ton service trucks for use by the Service Department, <br />according to the specifications now on file in his office, and <br />that upon the approval by the Board of Control the Mayor is <br />hereby authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on <br />behalf of the City of North Olmsted for said one-half ton service <br />trucks. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the public peace, safety, and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of obtaining two (2) <br />one-half ton service trucks for use by the North Olmsted Service Depart- <br />ment, to better serve the citizens of North Olmsted.
