CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69-107 <br />BY 4 ? . <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE ACHIEVEMENT <br />OF LAURENCE J. BUSSER, TROOP 204, CLAGUE <br />ROAD UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, FOR RECEIV- <br />ING RECOMMENDATION FROM THE CATHOLIC DIOCESE <br />OF CLEVELAND AND RECEIVING AD ALTARE DEI <br />AWARD, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council has been apprised that the Ad Altare <br />Dei Award will be presented to Laurence J. Busser, on April 27th; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Laurence J. Busser is a member of Troop 204 of <br />Clague Road United Church of Christ, and has worked very dili- <br />gently for the betterment of all scouting; and <br />WHEREAS, said Catholic Diocese of Cleveland wishes to <br />recognize the achievement of Laurence J. Busser; and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to go nn record to commend the <br />non-denominatinnal work of this Boy Scout, and further to recognize <br />his contributions to scouting in general. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Laurence J. Busser is hereby commended for <br />his scouting work, and for his effort expended as a Boy Scout, which <br />efforts have been of such extent that they have been recognized by <br />the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />requested to transfer a copy of this Resolution to Laurence J. <br />Busser. <br />Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure because Council wishes to have this Resolution <br />passed prior to this award being given on April 27th. WHEREFORE, <br />this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its signing by <br />the Mayor, otherwise at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: I 9 <br />ATTEST: <br />) ;'\..
