ORDINANCE NO. 69-14,11 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE GENERAL OFFEftSES CODE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, SECTION 501.99 <br />( CODIFED ORDINANCES ), ENTITLED " PENALTY," TO CON- <br />FORM TO CHANGES ENACTED BY THE OHIO GENERAL AS- <br />SEMBLY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGEN'CY. <br />WHEREAS , Council has determined that it is in the best interest <br />of the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted General Offenses Code <br />be reviewed to elimante any conflicts with provisions af the State Statutes, <br />as enacted by the Ohio General Assembly. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIIVED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Section 501.99, Chapter 501 ( Codified Ordinances ) <br />of the North Olmsted General Offenses Code reading as follows: <br />501.99 PENALTY. <br />d) Whoever violates Section 501.05, 501.07, 501.08 <br />501.09 shall b e fined not more than five hundred <br />dollars ($500.00 ) or imprisoned not more than <br />six months, or both. " <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : <br />501.99 PENALTY. <br />? d) Whoever violates Section 501.07 to 501,10, inclusive, <br />shall be fined not more than five hundred dollars <br />($500.00 ) or imprisoned not more than six months, <br />or both. <br />Section 2. That any ordinance or parts of ordinances, or resolution or <br />parts of resolutions, inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinances, are <br />hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, safety, <br />health and welfare by virtue of the fact that Section 501. 99 prior to this amend- <br />ment is in conflict with the provisions of the State Statutes.
