? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69-18 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION CONfMENDING RICHARD H. WHITTING, JR. <br />ON THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE EAGLE SCOUT AWARD, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Council has been apprised that the Eagle Scout <br />Award will be presented to Richard H. Whitting, Jr. on February 16, <br />1969; and <br />WHEREAS, this Award will be presented at an Eagle Scout <br />Court of Honor; and <br />WHEREAS, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Whitting of <br />25146 Antler Drive, North Olmsted, Ohio, Richard Whitting, Jr. is <br />thirteen years old; and <br />WHEREAS, said Richard has received many awards and honors <br />as a member of the Boy Scouts of America; and <br />WHEREAS, the reception of the Eagle Scout Award by this <br />tealous and outstanding youth is a noteworthy accomplishment deserv- <br />ing of the accolade of the entire community. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l. That this Council extend the heartiest congratula- <br />tions and best wishes to Richard Whitting, Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Richard <br />Whitting. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council be and she is hereby <br />requested to transfer a copy of this Resolution to Richard H. Whitting, Jr. <br />Section 3. That this Resolution is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, <br />safety, health and wblfare of the City of North Olmsted by virtue of <br />the fact that the award will be presented to the aforementioned Eagle <br />Scout on February 16, 1969.
