CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE IVO. 69- ?/ PAGE 2 <br />Section 4. That all full time employees of the Finance Department <br />shall receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the <br />Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive regulare rate of pay, <br />New Year's Day ; Memorial Day ; Independence Day ; Labor Day ; Thanks- <br />giving Day and Christmas Day. <br />Section 5. That the Assistant Director of Finance is hereby <br />authorized to sign checks on behalf of the City of North Olmsted, but only <br />when the Director of Finance is absent from the City or on vacation. <br />Section 6. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />a copy of this ordinance to the Director of Finance immediately upon its <br />passage,. <br />Section 7. That all other ordinances or resolutions, or parts of <br />ordinances or parts of resolution inconsistent herewith to the provisions of <br />this ordinance are hereby repealed , especially, Ordinance No. 68-40, <br />with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />Section 8. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the fact that there is an immediate necessity <br />of adjusting compensation for the city employees, so as to make such com- <br />pensation commensurate with the requirements of the various jobs. WHERE- <br />FORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage, otheYwise, at the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED:? 41 I QG 9 <br />ATTEST: <br />c <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council Francis J.
