-IN& <br /> <br />M1 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 69-23 <br />PAGE 2 <br />Section 3. The secretarial or clerical help of the Engineering <br />Department of the City of North Olmsted shall receive, as a longevity <br />increment, the sum of $25.00. This longevity increment shall be payable <br />over and above any annual salaryo ur hourly salary paid to said secretary <br />or clerical help, and shall be at the rate of $25.00 for each and every <br />year said secretary or clerical help has been continually employed by <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />Section 4. That excluding secretarial and clerical employees <br />and retroactive to September l, 1968, that all full-time employees of <br />the Engineering Department having completed five (5) years of full-time <br />continuous service as employees of said department shall be paid an addi- <br />tional 3'% of their base annual salary thereafter until completion of the <br />tenth (10) year of continuous full-time service, after which such employee <br />shall receive 4% of their base annual salary, thereafter until the comple- <br />tion of their fifteenth (15) year of continuous full-time service, and <br />thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of <br />the twentieth (20) year of continuous full-time service and during each <br />year of full-time service thereafter they shall receive (,% of their base <br />annual salary as longevity increments. <br />Section 5. That in computing length of service for the purpose <br />of making payments of longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit <br />shall be given for part-time services, but such limitation is only for the <br />purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time <br />service shall not deprive any employees in the Engineering Department. <br />Section 6. That all full-time employees of the Engineering De- <br />partment shall not be required to work on the following holidays: New <br />Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day <br />and Christmas Day, unless requested to work by the Mayor in emergencies. <br />Section 7. That for all full-time hourly employees of the <br />Engineering Department, the City of North Olmsted shall pay an amount <br />equal to a single person's rate per month toward the cost of Blue Cross <br />Hospitalization and Medical Mutual premiums of said employees, as estab- <br />lished by Contract 52YS effective the 22nd day of May 1965. This is <br />retroactive to July l, 1967. <br />Section 8. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Finance Director immediately upon <br />its passage. <br />Section 9. That any ordinance or resolution, or parts of <br />ordinance or parts of resolution, inconsistent herein, and especially <br />Ordinance No. 68-157, are hereby repealed concurrently with the effective <br />date of this Ordinance. <br />Section 10.
