? <br />? ? <br />? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 69-25 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 67-184, ENACTED JUNE 26, 1967, <br />AND ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE CREATING THE POSITION OF <br />SECRETARY OF COMMISSIONS AND PROVIDING COMPENSATION <br />THEREFOR," AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY <br />WHEREAS, Council in Ordinance No. 67-184, establishing the <br />position of secretary to Commissions, and set forth the compensation <br />to be paid said secretary; and <br />WHEREAS, said secretary's duties will be to attend meetings, <br />prepare and type minutes and perform other duties consistent with <br />expediting the duties performed by the various City Boards and Com- <br />missions; and <br />WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Finance Committee of <br />Council, Council now wishes to increase the compensation to be <br />paid to said secretary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section I. That Section I of Ordinance No. 67-184, now <br />reading as follows: <br />"That the position of secretary of the Commissions for <br />the City of North Olmsted is hereby declared to be a <br />part-time position and effective July I, 1967, the com- <br />pensation to be paid to the said secretary of the Com- <br />missions shall be $1,800.00 annually and in addition <br />thereto $2.00 per hour for each night meeting attended." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />That the position of secretary to the Commissions of the City <br />of North Olmsted is hereby declared to be a part-time position effec- <br />tive July I, 1967, and compensation to be paid said secretary to the <br />Commissions shall be as follows: <br />Secretary to the Commissions $1,800.00 to $2,500.00 Annually <br />which salary shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to <br />forward a copy of this ordinance to the Finance Director immediately <br />upon its passage. <br />Section 3. That any ordinance or resolution, or parts of <br />ordinance or parts of resolution, inconsistent herein, and especially <br />Ordinance No. 67-184, are hereby repealed concurrently with the effec- <br />tive date of this ordinance.
