? <br />CdTY 0F NORTFi OLM5TED <br />ORD I NANCE N0, ?q"43 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND 61REC7ING THE CANCELLATION <br />0F SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 236-16-8 <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR sidewalks. <br />,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of sidewalks. <br />WHEREAS, M& M Persing of 5308 Columbia Road <br />have paid the sum of $217.50 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 1969 through 19 71, inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No.236-16-8 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohiod <br />Section l: That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to cancel for the years 1969 through 1971 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, sidewalks. <br />Section 2: Thati the Director of Finance of the City of North Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and dir°ected to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period 1969 through 1971 , inclusive, amounting to <br />$ 217.50 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessity of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No.236-16-8 , for Sidewalks. <br />Section 5; Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage, otherwise, at the ear°liest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED: 4?j ??G??^ Q e <br />Francis J. 0'Nei , President of Council <br />ATT EST: <br />. , Clerk of Council <br />APPROV ED: 31*1 /C c <br />Ralph E.
