' <br />AN ORD ANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CANCELLATION <br />OF SPE IAL ASSESSMENTS ON PERMANENT PARCEL N0. 237-14-44. <br />BEING AN ASSESSMENT FOR sidewalks <br />,AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, special assessments have been certified by the Auditor of the <br />City of North Olmsted, Ohio, to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County for the <br />construction of sidewalks. <br />WHEREAS, M/M,Standen of 4531 CoJumbia Road <br />have paid the sum of $67.38 in payment of said special assessments, in advance, <br />for the tax years 1969 through 1971 , inclusive, together with accrued interest <br />levied thereon against Permanent Parcel No.237-14-44 in the City of North <br />Olmsted. <br />NOW, 7HEREFORE, BE 17 ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North <br />Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l; That the Auditor of Cuyahoga County be and he is hereby <br />authorized and dir°ected to cancel for the years 1969 through 1971 , inclusive <br />assessments in full for, sidewalks. <br />Section 2: That the Director of Finance of the City of Nor°th Olmsted <br />is hereby authorized and directed to receive payment in advance on such <br />assessments for the period lg 69 through 19 71 , inclusive, amounting to <br />$67.38 on said parcel. <br />Section 3: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County, Ohio. <br />Section 4: Wherefore, this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health <br />and welfare of the City of North Olmsted, and such emergency exists by virtue <br />of the necessety of cancelling the special assessments on Permanent Parcel <br />No. 237-14-44 , for sidewalks. <br />Section 5: Wherefore, this Ordinance shall take effect immediately <br />from and after its passage9 otherwise, at the ear°liest period allowed by law. <br />PASS ED: <br />Francis J. 0'Neil , President of Council <br />ATT EST: <br />.
