J CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0.69- BY AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, SECTION 339.06 ( CODIFIED ORDINANCE ) , ENTITLED" "MAXIMUM WIDTH, HEIGHT ANDLENGTH," TO CONFORM TO CHANGES EN- ACTED BY THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted Traffic Code be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with provisions of the State Statutes, as enacted by the Ohio General Assembly. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That Section 339.06, Chapter 339 ( Codified Ordinance ) of the North Olmsted Traffic Code reading as follows: 339.06 MAXIMUM WIDTH, HEIGHT AND LENGTH. " No vehicle shall be operated upon the public highways, streets, bridges and culverts within the City whose dimensions exceed those specified in this section. ( a) Width. No such vehicle shall have a width in excess of : ( 1) One hundred four ( 104 ) inches for passenger bus type vehicles operated exclusively within municipal corporations ; ( Z) One hundred thirty-two ( 132 ) inches for traction engine s ; ( 3) Ninety-six ( 96 ) inches, in'oluding load for all other vehicles. ( b) Lencrth. No such vehicle shall have a length in excess of : ( 1) Forty-eight ( 48 ) feet for passenger bus type vehicles operated exclusively within municipal corporations ; ( 2) Forty ( 40 ) feet for passenger bus type vehicles with three or more axles ; ( 3) Forty ( 40 ) feet for semitrailer of a commercial tractor and semitrailer combination ; ( 4) Fifty-five ( 55 ) feet for the overall length of a commercial tractor and semitrailer combination, with or without load ; ( 5) Sixty ( 60 ) feet for any other combination of vehicles coupled together, with or without load ; ( 6) Thirty-five ( 35 ) feet of all other vehicles.
