,? . • nb CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 69- fi BY lau 'A", AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, SECTION 337.21 ( CODIFIED ORDINAN CE ) , ENTITLED " REAR-VlEW MIRROR ; CLEAR VIEW TO FRONT AND BOTH SIDES, " TO CONFORM TO CHANGES ENACTED BY THE OHIO GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is in the best interest of the City of North Olmsted that the North Olmsted Traffic Code be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with provisions of the State Statutes, as enacted by the Ohio General Assembly. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1. That Section 337.21, Chapter 337 ( Codifi3ed Ordinance ) of the North Olmsted Traffic Code reading as follows : 337.21 REAR-VIEW MIRROR ; CLEAR VIEW TO FRONT AND BOTH SIDES. " Every motor vehicles shall be equipped with a mirror so located as to reflect to the operator a view of the street to the rear of such vehicle. Operators of vehicles shall have a clear and unobstructed uiew to the front and to both sides of their vehicles and shall have a clear view to the rear of their vehicles by mirror. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 337.21 REAR-VIEW MIRR.OR; CLEAR VIEW TO FRONT BOTH SIDES AND REAR. Operators of vehicles and motorcycles shall have a clear and unobstructed view to the front and to both sides of their vehicles or motor- cycles and shall have a clear view to the rear of their vehicles or motorcycles by mirror. Section 2. That any ordinance or parts ot ordinances, or resolutions or parts of resolutions, inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective date of this Ordinance.
