CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 69-86 <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SERVICE DIRECTOR <br />TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR A COMBINED OR PACK- <br />AGE INSURANCE POLICY FOR THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the package insurance policies covering all <br />Municipal properties and operations are expiring on July l, <br />1969, and <br />WHEREAS, The Finance Committee has recommended to <br />Council that the Service Director be authorized to take bids <br />for insurance coverage for the City of Plorth Olmsted. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section l. That the Service Director be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for insurance coverage for <br />all municipal properties and operations according to the <br />specifications now on file in his office. <br />Section 2. That this Resolution is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety, and welfare of the City by virtue <br />of the fact that the insurance companies must have sufficient <br />time to investigate the insurance coverage needed and prepare <br />their bids prior to expiration of the present insurance coverage. <br />WHEREFORE, this resolution shall take effect and be in force im- <br />mediately upon its passage, otherwise at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />PASSED: l 6 9 <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence Holm, Clerk of Council <br />, President?,,Pf Council <br />Ko GZ1 <br />APPROVED: //)/ A !?' <br />r <br />e • ?-s''t. <br />Ra ph .
