CITY CF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 69-?? <br />? . <br />BY 21 _1? <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER <br />TO PROCEED WITH THE DEMOLITION OR REMOVAL OF THE <br />DWELLINGS ON PERMAN'ENT PARCEL IVOS. 237-23-4 AND 237- <br />23-45, MASTICK ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1331.01 - <br />1331.99 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, the Building <br />Commissioner has determined that the abandoned dwellings known as Mastick <br />Stables and located at 23414 Mastick Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, and furthe r <br />known as Permanent Parcel Nos. 237-23-4 and 237-23-45, the record title <br />holder is William Rinyu, are unsafe, dangerous to human life and a hazard to <br />the safety, health , and public vvelfare to the citizens of North Olmsted ; and <br />WHEREAS, notice to repair, remove and demolish said buildings was <br />served by certified mail on said record title holder on March 27, 1968, ordering <br />him to repair, remove or demolish said dwellings and to commence such re- <br />pair, removal or demolition within forty-eight hours of receipt of said notice ; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, said notice informed the record title holder of his right to <br />appeal the condemnation order of the Building Commissioner within fifteen ( 15 ) <br />days ; and <br />WHEREAS, said record title holder, William Rinyu, failed to file an appeal <br />within the fifteen ( 15 ) days and has failed to comply with the order of the <br />Building Commissioner. <br />NCOs+N, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section l. That Council deems it necessary to proceed with the demolition <br />and removal of the dwellings or accessory buildings at 23414 Mastick Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, also known as Permanent Parcel Nos. 237-23-4 and 237- <br />23-45, owned by William Rinyu, whose mailing address is 3657 West 117th <br />Street, Cleveland, Ohio, by reason of the fact that said dwellings have been <br />determined to be dangerous to human life and a hazard to the public safety, <br />health and welfare of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted,and that the <br />cost of said demolition and removal be paid from the General Fund of the City <br />of North Olmsted and charged to the owner as a special assessment or lien on <br />said parcels of land, and assessed and collected in the manner of other assess- <br />ments as provided by iaw. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward to <br />William Rinyu, at 3657 West 117th Street, Cleveland, Ohio, a copy of this <br />ordinance. <br />Section 3.
