ORDINAN CE NO. 69 - `14 <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE BUILDING COMMISSIONER <br />TOPRbCEED WtTH THE DEMOLITION OR REMOVAL OF THE <br />DWELLING- ON PERMANENT PARCEL NO. 232-12-9, DOVER <br />CENTER ROAD, NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO. <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the provsions of Ordinance No. 1331.01- <br />1331. 99 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted, the Building <br />Commissioner has determined that the abandoned dwelling known as F?ermanent <br />Parcel No. 232-12-9 and located at Dover Center Road, North Olmsted, Ohio, <br />the record title holder is George Weisenbach, is unsafe, dangerous to human <br />life, and a hazard to the safety, health and public welfare to the citizens of <br />North Olmsted; and <br />WHEREAS, notice to repair, remove and demolish said building was <br />served by certified mail on said record title holder on September 14, 1967, <br />ordering him to repair, remove or demolish said dwelling and to commence <br />such repair, removal or demolition within forty-eight hours of receipt of said <br />notice ; and <br />WHEREAS, said notice informed the record title holder of his right to <br />appeal the condemnation order of the Building Commissioner within fifteen <br />( 15 ) days ; and <br />WHEREAS, said record title holder, George Weisenbach, failed to <br />file an appeal within the fifteen ( 15 ) days and has failed to comply with <br />the order of the Building Commissioner. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio : <br />Section 1. That Council deems it necessary to proceed with the demo- <br />lition and removal of the dwellings or accessory building at Dover Center Road, <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, also known as Permanent Parcel No.232-12-9, owned by <br />George Weisenbach, whose mailing address is 4815 Pearl Road, Parma, Ohio, <br />by reason of the fact that said dwelling has been determined to be dangerous <br />to human life and a hazard to the public safety, health and welfare of the <br />citizens of the City of North Olmsted, and that the cost of said demolition and <br />removal be paid from the General Fund of the City of North Olmsted and <br />charged to the owner as a special assessment or lien on said parcel of iand, <br />and assessed and collected in the manner of other assessments as provided <br />by law. <br />Section 2. That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed to forward to <br />George Weisenbach, at 4815 Pearl Road, Parma, Ohio, a copy of this Ordinance. <br />Section 3.
