NO. - 81 - 134 <br />BY: JAMES BOEHMER <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTQ <br />AN AGREEMENT WITH CUYAHOGA COUNTY FOR THE PURPOSE <br />OF ESTABLISHING A COUNTY-WIDE DISASTER SERVICE <br />AGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, since the abolishment of the Civil Defense <br />there is no longer a coordinated Disaster Service Agency, and <br />WHEREAS, Cuyahoga County has presented to the various <br />municipalities in the County a program for establishing a County- <br />Wide Disaster Service Agency, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City of North Olmsted <br />to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement establishing <br />such County-Wide Disaster Service Agency. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA, AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to enter into an agreement with Cuyahoga County and <br />other various municipal corporations in Cuyahoga County to establish <br />a County-Wide Disaster Service Agency in accordance with the agreement <br />which is attached hereto and made a part hsreof and marked Exhibit "A". <br />SECTION 2.
