? <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION N0. 81 - 112 <br />BY o MR. "UILAMOSKY <br />A RESOLUTION AUT:JORIZING THE DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC <br />SFRVICE TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS FOR VARIOUS SUPpLIES <br />TO BF USED IN THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />NOWq THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED; COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Director of Publice Service be and <br />he is hereby authorized to advertise for bids for tiqo thousand <br />(2,000) tons of cinders and twenty-five hundred (2,500) tons of road <br />salt to be used in the Service Department, all of which shall be in <br />accordance with specifications now on file in his office, and that <br />upon apnroval by the t3oard of Control, the Mayor be and he is herehy <br />authorized to enter into a contract and execute same on behalf of <br />the City of North Olmsted. <br />SECTION 2: That this Resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation of <br />the nublic health, safety and welfare, and for tlie further reason <br />that it is necessary to carry on a program of preventative maintenance <br />together with snow removal in the winter season, and further, pro- <br />vided it receives an affirmative vote of two-thirds o.f_ all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED : Xy?? 6/' 11 <br />ATTEST: <br />F CE E.
