CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE N0. 81-106 PAGE 2. (b) The Assistant Finance Director, having completed five (5) years of full time continuous service as an employee of the Department shall be paid an additional four percent (40) of his/her base annual salary thereafter until completion of ten (10) years of full time continuous service; after which such employee shall receive five percent (5%) of his/her base annual salary thereafter until tfie completion of the fifteenth (15) year of continuous full time service; and tliereafter six percent (60) of the base annual salary until after the completion of the twentieth (20) year of continuous full time service; and during each year of full time service thereafter he/she shall receive seven percent (70) of hisJher base annual salary as longevity increments. 135.04 Holidays. A11 full time employees of the Finance Department sha11 receive the following holidays off, unless requested to work by the Director of Finance in emergencies, and shall receive the regular rate of pay; New Year's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Thanksgiving Day; Christmas Day; Presidents Day; the employee's birthday; and a floating holiday. 135.05 Vacations. All full time employees of the Finance Department shall be entitled to an annual vacation in accordance with the following schedule: Years of FulT Time Service Weeks of Vacation 1 to 5, inclusive Two (2) 6 to 11, inclusive Three (3) 12 to 19, inclusive Four (4) 20 and over Five (5) 135.06 Auth_oritv of Assistant Finance Director to siQn checks. The Assistant Finance Director is hereby authorized to sign checks on behalf of the City, but only in the event the Director of Finance is absent from the City, on vacation, or otherwise indisposed. 135.07 Powers and Dufies of the'Department. In addition to those powers and duties now or hereafter imposed upon the Director of Finance by the laws of the State of Ohio, the Cha.rter of the City of North Olmsted, or otherwise provided by Ordinance of the Council, the Director shall plan, prepare and execute the Annual City Operating Budget. He shall direct the execution of the budget to maintain the programs, appropria- tions and limitations established by the Mayor and enacted by Council; and shall work closely with all department supervisors on matters involving budgeting considerations. The Director of Finance shall evaluate and recommend approval or disapproval of budget adjustment requests requiring Council action. It shall be the duty of the Director to receive the tax impased under Title 15 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of North Olmsted and to keep an accurate record thereof and to report all
