CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />BY: MR. BOEHMER <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81 - 99 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES <br />FOR THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, FOR THE <br />YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1981, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF <br />CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That the Finance Director be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to transfer appropriations as follows: <br />RECREATION DEPARTMENT FUND <br />FROM <br />Capital Improvement <br />Wages . . . . . . . <br />Capital Improvement <br />. $7,500 <br />. 1,200 <br />. 5,300 <br />$14,000 <br />Rental . . <br />Rental . . <br />Rec Center <br />TO <br />. . . . . $7,500 <br />. . . . . 1,200 <br />Expenses 5,300 <br />$14,000 <br />SECTION 2: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the City Treasury for payments from any of the fore- <br />going appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers <br />therefor, approved by the Board of Officers authorized by law to approve <br />same, or an Ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; <br />provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages <br />except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or <br />Ordinance. Provided, further that the appropriations for contingencies <br />can only be expended upon approval of two-thirds vote of Council for items <br />of expense constituting a legal obligation against the eity and for <br />purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations <br />herein made. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure immediately necessary for the preservation of the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and for the further reason that it is immediately <br />necessary for the continuity of services at the Recreation Complex, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all <br />members of Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: zmI <br />ATTEST: ? . <br />Florence E.
