WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING SIXTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED DOLLARS <br />($16,600.00) FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND <br />FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF A PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ON THE <br />EAST SIDE OF STEARNS ROAD, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 81-85, <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, Through passage of Ordinance No. 81-85, the Council <br />had previously appropriated Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000) from <br />the Community Development Block Grant Fund for the pedestrian bridge <br />on the East Side of Stearns Road, and <br />INHEREAS, This Council has been advised that the cost of said <br />bridge is greater than the appropriated amount and it is therefore <br />necessary to appropriate Sixteen Thousarid Six Hundred Dollars <br />($16,600.00). <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That this Council hereby appropriates the sum of <br />Sixteen T ousand Six Hundred Dollars ($16,600.00) from the <br />Community Development Block Grant Funds for the purpose of designing <br />and constructing a pedestrian bridge on the East Side of Stearns Road <br />approximately 470 feet south of Lorain Road, S.R. 10. <br />SECTION 2: That Ordinance N0. 81-85, previously adopted by this <br />Council is ereby repealed. <br />SECTION 3: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward <br />an attested copy of this Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 4: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the <br />public safety, health and welfare, and for the further reason that it <br />is immediately necessary to begin construction on this project, and <br />further provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members of Council it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ?J,OAxAie 4"Iff I <br />? <br />ATTEST: <br />Florence E.
