CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. gl - 97 By; MR. WILAMOSKY AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE COMPENSATION TO BE PAID TO ALL HOURLY EMPLOYFES EMPLOYED BY THE rdORTH OLMSTED MUNICIPAL BUS LINE, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to establish a compensation schedule for all hourly personnel employed by the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: SECTION l: That effective August 1, 1981, the compen- sation to be paid to all hourly employees of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be as follows: A. Bus Operators Hired on or after November l, 1979 l. $ 7.39 per hour - fir'st year service 2. $ 8.45 per hour - second year servic e 3. $ 9.505 per hour - third year service 4. $10.56 per hour - top operator rate Hired before November l. 1979 l. S 8.45 per hour - first year service 2. $ 8.975 per hour - second year s ervice 3. $ 9.505 per hour - third year service 4. $10.56 per hour - top operator rate All part-time operators shall be pai d in a range of $6.00 per hour to $8.1 5 per hour. B. Maintenance and Service Fmployees Hired on or after August l, 1980 Mechanic Equipment $ 7.58 per hour to star t $ 8.665 per hour after 1 year $ 9.745 per hour after 2 years $10.83 per hour after 3 years Mechanic Leader $ 7.945 per hour to star t $ 9.08 per hour after 1 year $10.215 per hour after 2 years $11.35 per hour after 3 years Mechanic Apprentice $ 7.11 per hour to star t $ 8.13 per hour after 1 year $ 9.145 per hour after 2 years $10.16 per hour after 3 years Service Person $ 6.98 per hour to start $ 7,975 per hour after 1 year $ 8.975 per hour after 2 years $ 9.97 per hour after 3 years Hired before August l, 1980 Mechanic Equipment $10.33 per hour to start $10.55 per hour after 1 year $10.625 per hour after 2 years $10.83 per hour after 3 years
