<br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE N0. 81-92 <br />BY: RONALD WILAMOSKY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE TR.AFFIC CONTROL MAP <br />AND FILE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED TO PROVIDF. <br />FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TWO (2) STOP SIGNS AT <br />THE INTERSECTION OF SUTTON DRIVE AT CHRISTMAN <br />DRIVE, IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council to have stop <br />signs installed at the intersection of Sutton Drive and Christman <br />Drive, more specifically a stop sign placed on the southwest corner <br />of Sutton Drive at the intersection of Christman Drive, controlling <br />traffic traveling east on Sutton Drive, and further by installing <br />a stop sign on the northeast corner of Sutton Drive at the inter- <br />section of Christman Drive, to control westbound traffic on Sutton, <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 305 of the Traffic Code provides for the <br />maintenance of the Traffic Control Map which said Map can be amended <br />only by ordinance. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF NORTH OLMSTED, COUNTY OF CUYAHOGA AND STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION 1: That the Police Department be and the same is <br />hereby authorize and directed to amend the Traffic Control Map' <br />and File of the City of North Olmsted to indicate thereon the <br />installation of two (2) stop signs as aforesaid. <br />SECTION 2: That the Mayor be and he is hereby directed to <br />cause sai stop signs to be installed in accordance with the <br />provisions of this Ordinance. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure immediately necessary for the preservation <br />of the public health, safety and welfare, and for the further <br />reason that it is immediately necessary to correct the hazardous <br />traffic problem, and further provided it receives the affirmative <br />vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its passage and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: <br />ATTF.ST : <br />F OR E?
