CITY OF NORTH OLMSTF.D <br />ORDIfJANCE N0. 81-91 <br />BY: James Boehmer <br />AN ORDINAFdCE APPROPRIATING TWENTY-iVINE THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM <br />THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUPdD FOR THE INSTALLATION <br />OF FEPdCING ALONG THE PERIMETERS OF THE BARTON ROAD-BRADLEY ROAD <br />RECREATION AREA. <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted desires to improve the safety of <br />the users of the recreation area and residents adjacent to the recreation area, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council has applied for and received approval to <br />use Community Development Block Grant Funds, and <br />WHEREAS, the City of North Olmsted passed Ordinance No. 81-45 approved <br />May 5, 1981, authorizing the Safety Director to advertise for bids for the <br />installation of the Barton Road-Bradley Road Recreation Area Fencing Project, <br />and <br />WHEREAS, a recent examination of the City financial records by the <br />State Auditor has determined that the sum of all funds for a project, includinq <br />federal funds, must be appropriated by Council before certification by the ? <br />Finance Director. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAIfJED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH <br />OLMSTED, COUfdTY OF CUYAHOGA, APJD STATE OF OHIO: <br />SECTION l: That Council hereby appropriates the sum of Twenty-Nine <br />Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00) from the Community Development Block Grant Funds <br />for the installation of fencing around the Barton Road-Bradley Road Recreation <br />Area. <br />SECTION 2: That the Clerk of Council shall immediately forward an <br />attested copy of the Ordinance to the Auditor of Cuyahoga County. <br />SECTION 3: That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from <br />and after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />PASSED: a f? <br />ATTEST: <br />FLORENCE CAMPBELL, CLERK F COUNCIL <br />? <br />? <br />APPRO,ILD: <br />- , t <br />ROBERT W.
